Sandy is Co-Founder of Good Mourning Ministry (www.goodmourningministry.net) and a former Director of Religious Education. She holds a master's degree in Pastoral Ministry/Bereavement from Madonna University. She feels called to minister and bring comfort to those who grieve and mourn the death of a loved one. Sandy lost her mother in 1999, months after being paralyzed in a car accident. Her husband, David, died a year later from cancer. She became an "only parent" raising a son and daughter. She has two children, two stepchildren, and four grandchildren. Her home parish is Our Lady of Good Counsel in Plymouth, Michigan.
